When I wrote my previous blog, I was not looking for anything in return. But, I would like to thank our most gracious instructor for his kindness and understanding. I am really enjoying being back in school, it's a whole new chapter in my life. I decided to jump back in to school with both feet planted firmly on the ground, by taking a full schedule and working full time. I didn't give it a second thought, about whether I could carry a full time schedule, I just did it. My mother taught us to never say "can't", so I know that I can do this. My son use to say, I was very hard on him about education and I was! I pushed him and pushed him until he earned his degree in Culinary. Now, he says he's grateful that I did push him because, he's now a Sous Chef at a prestige private club in Newport Beach. He's working towards that Executive Chef position, that he so desires. My daughter she's an awesome woman, she's in a nursing program full time days and attending RCC part time nights. The two of them are my main accomplishments in life, they make me very proud to be their mother, and I don't regret for one moment, putting them first in my life before I finished my own education.

I must say you have a full plate. Determinationis all you need to get by. I'm actually doing the same but some days I ask myself when the last day to withdraw with a "w" is. Luckly my job isn't stressfull or demanding but it's still a job. Not to mention all the work that piles on from all the classes that you take. I don't mean to discourage you but I know how hard it is to be in your shoes. You should be proud of yourself and best of luck to you!
I give the older students an extra cheers, lets show them how well we still got it!!!
